Event Details

Small Frye is expanding to emphasize skills for early learners. Now presented in two parts: storytelling and art, you can register for both parts or just storytelling. For children ages three to five years old and their caregivers, activities include counting, identifying size, shape, and color, recognizing weather patterns and basic animal biology. Play with the storytellers from Seattle Children’s Theatre as they weave together an imaginative narrative and a dramatic book reading. Then sculpt, draw, collage, and paint with Frye art educators. Each art activity is connected to content and themes in the stories. Book selection and art activity changes with each new exhibition.

Small Frye is a free program presented in collaboration with Seattle Children’s Theatre.
